Description

The SV-8700 is a 7” commercial high-definition LCD monitor designed to be used in commercial vehicles like semi-trucks, buses and motorhomes. This monitor offers 3 audio/video inputs and a built-in speaker for playback. The diver can switch between the inputs by pressing the input button on the bottom of the screen. This monitor also offers auto-switching on reverse so that it will bring up the reverse camera when the vehicle is placed into reverse. One of the reasons this is a commercial monitor is that this monitor will actually feed power to the cameras so no need to run extra wires to the cameras. This is achieved by using the commercial cameras and the 4-pin cable that comes with them.

The SV-8700 offers a variety of menu options to offer the driver control of the video picture quality and sound options all from the touch of a button. The on-screen picture can be mirrored, or rotated vertically so that it can accommodate a wide variety of cameras. This is a very helpful feature if the camera that you are using does not offer selectable image. The monitor also offers different language settings and a full function remote to allow easy access to the menus.

The SV-8700 comes with a “duck foot” style mounting plate to be mounted to the dash of your vehicle. There is an options U-shaped bracket available, which is sold separately. To help with any glare, there is a sun shade built-in.
