The SV-1200.PLW is a wireless video signal transmitter that transmits video across the power lines in your vehicle. This transmitter receiver combo unit will allow you to install a camera system without having to run wires from the monitor to the rear of the vehicle. This is especially helpful on bigger vehicles like semi-trucks, buses, motor homes and limousines. The transmitter converts an RCA input signal into a signal that is carried on the power lines in the vehicle to the receiver that converts it back into an RCA signal and outputs it to the video monitor. This system works equally as well on 12V or 24V systems.
The trick to the system is that the connection needs to be on the same circuit in the front and rear of the vehicle. As in same ignition or reverse circuit. This will allow the signal to use that circuit as if it was an RCA wired connection. The best part is that this will give you a crystal clear picture as it is not using the airwaves, it uses a wired connection. This system can be used in up to 200 feet of range between the transmitter and receiver.
