Description

The CS-884.OEM is an add-on security system designed for the purpose of upgrading your factory keyless entry system to a full-blown security system. Designed for use with newer vehicles 2007 and up, this upgrade system requires a data module so it can see the lock and lock commands come from the OEM remote control and effectively arm and disarm the security system as you please. The system also comes with a dual-stage shock sensor to pick up vibration around the vehicle when the system is armed.

The CS-884 system requires the use of a data module in order to integrate to the factory keyless entry system. The system has a 2-Way data port which allows quick connection to the data modules and allows the CS-884 system to see the factory door lock pulses through data which will arm and disarm the system. Trunk trigger and door trigger features can also be integrated through data making this a very easy and simplified installation. Since the system requires a data module, it is compatible with most year, make and model vehicles 2007 and up that use the CANBUS data system.

If you are using a Fortin data module, you will need the Flashlink™ FLU-100.2 programming cable in order to activate the “Aftermarket alarm control through OEM remote” feature. This will allow the system to see the door lock pulses through data. If you are using iDatalink module for your install, then you will need to the Weblink™ OFA-123 programming cable for the same purpose. Consult will your installer before installation for details.
