It is designed to be mounted on the back of commercial vehicles and uses a traditional U-shape hanging bracket to allow it to swivel up and down for a better viewing angle. It uses a CMOS image sensor to produce a sharp quality image on screen and includes night vision to give the driver better illumination during night time driving as well as parking assist lines to help accurately judge the distance behind the vehicle.

OEM Replacement Style Mirror with 4.3″ LCD Screen, Compass and Thermometer The SecurView™ SV-9156.CT is a replica of the SV-9156.C with the addition of a built-in thermometer to give the driver not only a heading but the exterior temperature as well. The mirror replaces the factory rear view mirror while still maintaining the factory look of the vehicle and giving the driver a 4.3″ LCD screen and a compass and thermometer reading. The screen is invisible when the camera is not in use and both the compass and thermometer will always be present as long as the key is turned on.

The angle of the screen can be set to different positions between 50° to 120° depending on driver preference. The monitor uses one video input to view the reverse camera and automatically adjusts the brightness and contrast of the picture for day and night.
