Description

front camera can be swiveled so that you can get the best view. The DVR will cycle record on time intervals from 1-15 minutes at a time. After that time is up it will start a new recording until it fills up the entire 32GB SD card. After the SD card get full it will automatically start overwriting the information starting at the oldest information first.

When you shift into reverse, the image from the rear view camera (sold separately) will automatically show up on the display and the DVR will begin to record from that video source. Once you take your vehicle out of reverse it will automatically switch back to the front camera and record from that video source. All of the recorded material will be time and date stamped so that you will know when the recording happened.

The SV-9159 has a built-in G-sensor that will force the DVR to begin emergency recording from the main camera. What makes these recording different is that they are locked onto the SD card and cannot be deleted from the system using the remote and they are also not able to be overwritten like the other files. These files are permanently locked onto the SD card until they are viewed on a computer. The G-sensor can be turned on and off by the remote and has different sensitivity levels similar to a shock sensor on an alarm. The higher the sensitivity the easier it is for the G-sensor to activate.

Another great feature of the SV-9159 is a motion sensor built-into the front facing camera. This allows the system to activate and take 1 or up to 6 images, depending on the setting, when movement is detected. This will give you a group of images to show you what is happening when you are not around. This can be very handy in case of break-ins or vandalism. The images are then stored and can be viewed either on the monitor or from a computer. This has multiple sensitivity levels as well and can be set by you. This mirror also offers a “Park Delay” feature that will all the system to stay active even after you exit the vehicle. You can set this mode from 30 minutes to 48 hours to keep the DVR recording. This will allow you to record information if your vehicle happens to get hit or vandalized, you would have a video versus the images that the motion sensor offers.

Some of the other features of this mirror are fixed parking assist lines for the rear view camera input, multi-language settings, brightness, contrast and sharpness settings, time and date selection and playback modes for both images and video recordings. All of these features can be accessed on the monitor by the full function remote.
