Description

The SecurView™ SV-9142.MDM is part of our Custom Monitor product line and is a motorized style of monitor that automatically raises into viewing position when the car is shifted into reverse so the driver can see what’s behind the vehicle and then lowers back into closed position when the vehicle is shifted back into drive. The SV-9142.MDM has a 4.3″ HD screen to give the driver a crystal clear image and includes two video inputs for two separate cameras to be plugged in.

The vehicle ignition is cycled on, the SV-9142.MDM will power on so that the video input is ready to receive the video signal. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse and the back up camera activates, the monitor will automatically raise up into viewing position and the screen will come on to display the reverse camera picture. When the car is shifted out of reverse, the screen will shut off the lower back down into closed position. The motorized screen of the SV-9142.MDM can be set to raise up to certain degree to give the driver a better viewing angle depending on where the monitor is mounted. The viewing angle can be adjusted between 50° to 120° and will hold the setting in memory so that it will always raise up to that particular setting for viewing when it is activated.

The SV-9142.MDM can be used with any of the SecurView™ or PlateCam™ cameras or any other camera that uses an RCA cable video connection. There are two video inputs to support two different cameras or one camera and an external DVD player.
