Description

The CA-5009.II is a rear parking assist system with a warning chime. The system comes with (4) ultra-sonic high frequency sensors but can be installed with only (2) if desired. Each sensor comes with shims at different angles so that you can get the best possible angle.  The sensors have a 5 foot range which should allow you to pick up most of the area behind you that you are unable to see. The CA-5009.II also offers “Intelligent Detection” which allows you to have things like bike racks, tow hitches or spare tire racks to not interfere and cause false alerts. The audible warning buzzer has an adjustable volume control on it to make sure it is not too loud or quiet to make sure you can hear the alerts.  The (4) sensors are waterproof and can be painted to match the vehicle, just be sure that the paint is not metalized and is only in a light coat. Metalized or heavily painted sensors could cause false alerts. The system does come with the hole saw needed to properly install the sensors into your vehicle.
